Scholarship Out Of Prisoners’ Welfare Fund
It has been decided to grant stipend to the following category of meritorious students (prisoners’ children living back home in the community) for every academic session out of the West Bengal Prisoners’ Welfare Fund for pursuing their studies :

| iv) | Appearing Higher Secondary or Equivalent (Class – XII) | Rs. 4000/- per annum | Mark Sheet of Class – XI | |
| v) | B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. (Pass Course) | Rs. 4000/- per annum | Mark Sheet of HS or equivalent examination | |

| 2. | All the prisoners – convict or UTP, lodged in the correctional homes of the State may apply for their studying children living back home in the community in the prescribed form through the Superintendent / Controller-in-Charge of concerned correctional home and the applications should reach to the office of the Chairperson, West Bengal Prisoners’ Welfare Fund within the date fixed each year. | |||
| 3. | Stipend will be given to 20 students all over the State in each academic session. In case the funds are available, more number of such children may also be considered for the stipend. | |||
